Klan and Michel teaming up

So here’s a random pic I took after I decided to have a little fun with two different Macross items I own. I think it came out pretty well and is… cute… *looks around*

I’ve had my MegaHouse Excellent Model Klan Klang Armored Version for quite a while, but the problem with the figure is that it comes in several pieces that tend to wear out if you need to move it too often. The model balances based on friction and the joints that hold it together have worn down to the point where they can’t hold Klan in her armour together any more. It sucks and I’m going to have to find a way to fix the problem or buy a new figure of the same type.

In the meantime, I’ve put Klan together with Michel in his VF-25G and they seem to be doing well. Yes, she is being held up by Michel’s Valkyrie entirely without any additional support and yes, she is holding his sniper rifle in her hand despite her not being “to scale” with the 1/60th scale Valkyrie toy from Bandai.

I like how things have turned out with this little experiment and I’m going to keep them that way from now on.
