Sunset Overdrive – Points Challenge #1

I’ve posted videos from my PlayStation 4, now let’s test it out on my newly bought Xbox One… it’s not good. in fact, it’s downright terrible compared to the PlayStation 4.

The PS4’s share features are seamless and smooth, and now that they’ve got YouTube integration built in, it’s even easier. With Xbox One, there’s way too many things to do to get your video on YouTube. Speaking of which, I thought you could natively do that on the console, right? I’m pretty sure you can, but I never found a way to do it. I had to upload this to my OneDrive and then manually upload it to YouTube… I’m going to have to look into that.

Anyway, enjoy a small clip of me doing a little challenge game on Sunset Overdrive. I decided to use the Upload Studio app on the Xbox One to give it a pop art theme because I just wanted to see how it’d look.

If I get another chance to post up a video from my Xbox One, I’ll figure out what it takes to get it on YouTube directly from the console… even still, it’s still nowhere near as intuitive as the way Sony does it with the PS4.

May want to hold out to that windows 10 update, supposed to increase performance with dx12 by an odd 40% or so.

Lynk Former says:

@Colin: That's specifically for PC games, not for Xbox One games. The hardware limitations of Xbox One compared to PlayStation 4 still applies.

But it's not so much the performance that I was complaining about, it's the way the OS on Xbox One is set out. It is very unintuitive, a total pain to use. It's also very laggy and too many features require an Internet connection to work. You can't access pinned items when logged out and for some reason, achievements require you to download images every time you view them. This makes the OS very sluggish because it takes a while for things to actually load in.

@Lynk Former: One thing I wish is if we could merge all the rain for use in the games, and just make a simple OS instead
