Now, this is the story all about how my nephew’s life got flipped-turned upside down, and I’d like to take a minute just sit right there, I’ll tell you how he sold his PS3 and became the prince of a console called Xbox 360.

During the whole PSN fiasco I joked about how my nephew (12 years old.. or is he 13 now? Meh, I never bothered to keep track) who is a die-hard Call of Duty fan and PlayStation 3 owner, would go through terrible withdrawal symptoms from not being able to play CoD online and would probably sell his PS3 for a 360… turns out that’s exactly what he did!

Fresh Prince of Xbox 360?

Man, I’ve been as sick as a dog the last week which is why this entry is so late… You better be prepared to do a lot of scrolling cause just like last years entry, this one is going to be about as long as longcat… maybe even longer.

Actually, last year I mainly focused on which of the big three console manufacturers “won” E3. This year I’ve decided to post up two entries, one that will resemble the style of last years and another one focusing on all of the things that were shown off during the event that weren’t mentioned during press conferences for Microsoft, Sony and Nintendo. I want to give some love to the PC gamer fans out there too.

So, here we go…

Kinect me to your Vita for some Wii U… and more!

It seems so silly and there’s probably a simple way to solve the problem, but I feel like bitching about stuff after a long week of uni…

As good as Xbox Live is, it’s exactly what you want out of a paid online gaming service… but it can be stupid sometimes, especially when it comes to your credit card details.

Stop that!

Here we go, another Dead Space related entry for those who care… though this one won’t be as comprehensive as the others.

Just like with the first game, a comic series was created to compliment the release of Dead Space 2, though this time the comic included some playable mini-games embedded throughout the story.

Hacking into stuff solves all of life’s problems…

Usually when you think of Xbox Live, you immediately think of a great online gaming network filled with whiny, arrogant and down right abusive people who are usually teenagers. In some instances that is very much true and you will come across that kind of horror in many of the games you play… however, I had some very interesting experiences lately while playing the Resident Evil 5 demo that I want to share with you guys.

Capcom was nice enough to include a feature in Resident Evil 5 where you are able to play through the game in co-op mode with a person you don’t know… this is a great feature which is common nowadays in a lot of games though I haven’t really tried it until now.

It’s more likely than you think…

For the second Game Spotlight, I thought I’d try something different. Instead of putting the spotlight on a game that’s already been around for awhile, why not preview a game that hasn’t even been released yet? The game I’ve chosen is the Resident Evil 5 demo which was just released on Xbox Live a few days ago.

As has been much publicised, Resident Evil 5 is heavily focused on co-operative gameplay, so I thought, “Why not have a co-op article to go with it.” When the full version of RE5 is finally released on March 13, Jeff (aka Moelman) and I are going to be playing it together in online co-op mode all the way through to the very end.

But for now, Jeff and I are going to share our thoughts about our experience with the Resident Evil 5 demo…

You’s two are just in time for the fireworks show! BOOM! Hahahahaha!
